Once again, it’s been awhile since I’ve updated the Reindeer Age Blog! Fear not – I’m still here making more artwork than ever. I thought I’d update my readers about my latest opportunity to hang my work in Wood’s High Mountain Distillery!
About Wood’s High Mountain Distillery…
If you’re from Colorado and aren’t familiar with this distillery, it’s time to get familiar. Right in the heart of Downtown Salida, Wood’s distills their own small batch spirits inspired by the Colorado outdoors. They use tons of local ingredients, make their own infusions, and create craft cocktails that are absolutely to die for. My particular favorite spirit of theirs is the Treeline Barrel Rested Gin. Ugh. So good.
I got the absolute honor of being able to hang my paintings in their distillery. Nik and I traveled from Conifer to install the work on October 8th and got to spend a really fun weekend in the area. All the work that is on display is available for sale, and will be there for at least the next couple of months. If you happen to be in the area, I would recommend stopping there. Honestly, I’d recommend stopping there no matter whose art is on the wall.
I’m really excited to get to have my work hanging in such an awesome local business – and I’m absolutely stoked to have an excuse to go hang out in Salida (and Buena Vista) more often. I’d like to say “thank you” to everyone who’s stopped by so far, and thank you even more if you bought something!
Not only would I like to say “thank you” to my patrons out in Salida, I also really appreciate those of you who have been following along in my artistic journey wherever it’s taken me. I’ve met so many awesome people over the past year or so showing my art here in Colorado. The communities built around art here are so welcoming.

& some big news in my personal life…
Nik and I have some big news… he and I got engaged last December! I know, I haven’t written in a long time. It’s almost been a year! We’ve been living in our house in Conifer for about a year now. We’re now in the process of planning our wedding. Life moves fast! We plan to get married next October on the 19th in Buena Vista. We’re both really looking forward to it.
